STEM 4 ALL PROJECT

Winds of Change though still at its early stages has already rolled out projects the team intends to undertake in the next three years. The first project in the pipeline is the STEM project and the organization has already piloted this project in three public schools in the southern region of Botswana. The schools were New Look primary school, Pitsonyane primary school and Letsopa junior secondary school. Through the pilot, the organization reached out to 272 students and 8 teachers. The project carried out was a needs assessment survey and it is reflective of the large-scale survey the organization intends to undertake in 2018. The survey questionnaires were divided into two: one survey to test students' attitude towards STEM subjects and careers and the other survey to get teacher's perception of early STEM education.
